I enjoy finding places around the city to photograph my brides and grooms. The newly married couple wanted to do a day after session in the city since their wedding was in Downingtown and bridal party portraits were at Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square. We were able to hit many sites that I love to shoot such as the Rodin Museum, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Water Works, Philadelphia City Hall, Broad Street, Rittenhouse Square, Washington Square, and LOVE Park. The day after shoot is something that can be very important to couples that really want great images of them together in locations that are not convenient to the ceremony or reception location. It gives you an opportunity to keep your wedding day flowing and worry about the epic pics later.
Just steps away from here is the fabulous Ritz Carlton Philadelphia, with its gorgeous neoclassic style and pure elegance. When you enter through the grand entrance into the Rotunda building modeled after the Pantheon in Rome, you are struck by the 140 foot tall dome, and expansive Carerra Marble floors, columns and walls. Just to the right you travel down the marble stairs to the Grand Ball Room. Your wedding reception at the Ritz Carlton Grand Ballroom will be spectacular and I hope that I have the opportunity to photograph it for you!
