Tattooed Bride Philly Wedding Pics

One of my favorite weddings was Kate and Frank. It was a simple wedding that they wanted to have in the backyard of their house. The tent was set up in the side yard and the  ceremony was set up in the back yard. Frank built a gazebo for them to stand in with the officiant and the aisle was lined with tree stumps topped with flowers. It was like a woodland fairytale.

When the ceremony finished, we headed across the street to the neighbors back yard for formal pictures with the bridal party and immediate family. We found the perfect shaded spot with lush green grass and trees.

We moved on to the reception. The one thing that was so noticeable about Kate and Frank was how much in love they are. It was a beautiful thing to see - they just simply adored each other. This image was captured when no one was really paying attention - they were dancing off to the side of the tent just enjoying being in each others arms.

Whether you are holding your wedding at a Country Club, a city hotel, or the back yard of your house - I am the photographer that is going to tell your story in images that will last a lifetime.

One place that I love is the Please Touch Museum's Memorial Hall in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. This is a stunning location plain and simple. If you are having your reception in Hamilton Hall, there are the 60' ceilings with a 40' replica of the Statue of Liberty's arm and torch, the ornate columns and statues that accent the walls, and plenty of room for up to 550 people for a seated reception.

Off of Hamilton Hall there is the South Foyer, which is the perfect location for your guests to enjoy a cocktail hour before dinner begins.

You may even be able to sneak off to the Carousel House for some pics on the fully operational 1908 Dentzel Carousel with its intricately carved wooden animals.

Brûlée Catering by Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix is the exclusive event caterer of this wedding and event venue. If you have not gotten to experience Brûlée's creations - do yourself a favor and go do a tasting. We have used them for corporate events and no one can stop talking about the food!
